Tour Dates: July 14th - Sat 28th 2012

Week 1

Saturday - Leave from Dublin on Saturday afternoon going north to our first nights stop near the Mourne Mountains.

Sunday and Monday we travel around the magnificent coast of Northern Ireland taking in the Giants Causeway, Malin Head, through the Glenveigh National Park to Donegal and on to Sligo for the night.

Tuesday we leave Sligo to head west to Mayo to stay in Westport for the night.

Wednesday has Galway as our target with Killarry Harbour and the Doo Lough Pas on the agenda.

Thursday is a rest and enjoy Galway day with an optional short ride out for those hardy bums who are not suffering from saddle sores.

Friday sees us on the road through Clare to Killarney crossing the Shannon at Killimer.

Week 2

Saturday, Sunday and Monday night we spend in Killarney enjoying the Kerry and Cork roads by day and the good food chat and drink by night!

Tuesday we leave Killarney and travel down to Bantry via the Gougane Barra National Park. From Bantry we go to Mizen Head thereby achieving our goal of riding from the most northerly to most southerly point, having already been to Malin Head in Donegal.

We will stay in the town of Kinsale on Tuesday night, well known for it’s culinary delights and enjoy one of the wonderful Seafood Restaurants.

Wenesday will be a short riding day as we travel to Blarney allowing enough time to visit the Blarney Castle.

Thursday we travel on to Waterford and Wexford stopping at the Waterford Crystal visitor centre.

Friday the Wicklow Mountains is our playground for the day.

Saturday’s ride is just a short trip back to the Ferry Port in Dublin, bringing to an end a memorable two weeks motorcycling in Ireland.
